We love to hate on admin (rightly so) but rn the greatest flaws are in the student body. Harvard students give into rampant greed for money, power, and status instead of using their education for good. Pathetic, and it’s why we’ve lost our moral status.

Is a 3.67 GPA good enough for finance or tech?

Probably not for the large firms but it should be fine for mid and small size firms

If I have taken more concentration courses than required and if two courses satisfy the same tag and one is A and the other is A-, when calculating my concentration gpa which grade will they use?

And if i want to boost my concentration gpa, for a tag that i have a A-, can i take another class that satisfy the same tag, get an A, and make my gpa increase?

I took 2 courses that counted for linear algebra and got a B- and an A and I just emailed them to change the requirements and they ended up doing it

Today is the day we finally witness econ students learn that 92-93 is a perfectly normal A/A- cutoff. Don’t worry though, you can still make PowerPoints with a B+

Has anyone taking intensive Russian or Italian?

I’m taking Russian next semester, I’m lowkey scared

yeah I did intensive elementary russian - it’s a TON of time and commitment, I had to drop a class and only take two other classes (it’s double the credits tho so still equal to four). please don’t do it if you don’t have the time, there are 2-3 hours of homework a night

also to be honest I would recommend doing the year long one bc I retained very little from all the cramming I had to do. if you have a better memory than me tho you’re probably fine lol

a couple of my friends did intensive italian and said it wasn’t bad and they learned a ton!
